The Kaesler name came into being in 1893, when the original vineyard plantings were commenced in the Barossa Valley. The exceptional estate holdings have been owned by various individuals over the last century, but it wasn’t until the late 90’s that they became an ongoing commercial concern under the original name.
Kaesler Wines is the joint venture of winemaker and General Manager, Reid Bosward , and a consortium of European businessmen. The brand is heavily focused on red wines, with the icon wine range( Old Bastard, Old Vine and The Bogan) all based on the outstanding, mature vine Shiraz resources of the Barossa Valley.
Kaesler is one of the most dynamic names of the Australian wine industry, with distribution in 15 countries and a burgeoning reputation for producing iconic Shiraz wines that are benchmarks for the variety on a world scale.
